Today we made Mom's Swedish Tea Ring. Aeryn was a big help stirring and then kneading the dough. Later, we went to the candlelight service at church which she enjoyed. After the pastor had been talking for awhile, though, she announced very loudly, "Time to go. All done. All done now." Everyone around was laughing. She was pretty excited that everyone had candles, too. She went around collecting them where people had set the unlit candles on the floor. So, even though we didn't pick up a candle on the way in, we had about 5 to take out. I let her bring one home and we lit it and sang Happy Birthday Dear Jesus about 5 times. Then she got her cuddly pink blanket and was ready to go to bed. She has no idea that Santa comes tonight - she'll find that out in the morning. We have moved the Christmas tree from the lanai into the study room so that Tom can be on skype and watch Aeryn open presents. I hope it all works out and skype doesn't get overloaded. Time for this Santa to get to bed! It will be a fun day tomorrow!
