Mainland: April 22-May 24

Back to Barbara & Phil's - we had the best, best ice cream at a place called Jeni's in Chagrin Falls. It was amazing. Then on a rainy day we went to a nature center and Aeryn got to see real stuffed animals (a bear, a beaver, etc.) plus some live animals (cute turtle). They also had a great treehouse for her to play in with toy animals inside.

We went to Toronto to visit Julie and her sister, Mary, and niece, Catherine, during the preparation time for Catherine's wedding. Other than getting waylaid by asthma due to Catherine's cat, we had a fun time taking the train into town and doing some pre-wedding shopping. Aeryn loved the Rainforest Cafe with the animated animals - all very cool. All the shopping wore Aeryn out and she just fell asleep when it was time to get the train home so I tied her onto my back as best I could (good old African training) and we all got home just fine. Aeryn loved having "tea and biscuits" with Julie in the mornings :).

Then it was back to Cleveland to repack. We were supposed to leave on Sunday but there were tornadoes in Minneapolis that closed the airport and caused city-wide electrical outages for 24 hours, so our flight got canceled and rescheduled for Monday. It was fun to have an extra day with Barbara and Phil. Barbara took us for a wild ride on the golf cart over marshy areas of the golf course behind their house. Aeryn and I were both laughing and hoping we didn't get stuck! It was great fun.

Looks like the video from Florida got put at the end of the pictures and the "save" feature isn't working so I will publish this much and start again with more pictures.
