Today we had a celebration for Aeryn's birthday at our playgroup get-together. Aeryn is really into Curious George, so we had hats, plates, blowers, balloons, etc. all in CG. She was excited from the moment she saw the first balloon being blown up. Playgroup was the usual fun, but today we had to stay indoors because it has been raining. That was okay. We corralled everybody for pizza, cake/cupcakes and ice cream and Aeryn was pretty excited being the birthday girl. She is the only one who kept the little hat on and even added a 2nd one and tried to wear a 3rd! One would think she would be worn out with the playing and dancing, but she is flying high and talking in her bed rather than napping. She did manage to get her pants and diaper off and she shi-shi'd on her blanket, but I got her put back together and blanket in the wash and was hoping she would then go to sleep, but it's not happening. Too much going on today! PS, Aeryn's 2nd 2nd Birthday will be after Papa gets home :)
